Cancer, Stroke, MS Training

Exercise does not cure Cancer, Stroke, or MS, but it can dramatically improve how someone lives with these conditions.

Done right, fitness becomes part of treatment, not a risk. This type of fitness is focused on function, safety, quality of life, and independence. Tona’s experience, training, and intuitive abilities will serve you as she creates an individualized plan that supports you and your body.

  • Cancer Fitness Training

    Maintain strength, reduce fatigue, improve recovery, and quality of life - during or after treatment.

    Training is focused on low to moderate intensity, consistency over intensity, and adaptability to energy levels.

    Components to this training are aerobic, strength, mobility & posture (surgical limitations are a factor), breathing, and relaxation.

    Sessions are offered private, in-person and virtually.

  • Stroke Fitness Training

    The goal is to restore movement, balance, coordination, and independence after brain injury.

    Training is focused on neuroplasticity (retraining the brain), task-specific movement, and balance and gait retraining.

    Components to this training are strength, balance, gait, cardio, and functional movements.

    Sessions are only offered private, in-person.

  • MS Training

    The goal is to slow functional decline, manage symptoms, maintain independence.

    Training is focused on energy conservation, temperature control, and symptom-responsive programming.

    Components to this training are aerobic, strength, flexibility, balance, and coordination.

    Sessions are only offered private, in-person.
